Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will be opening several of the county’s tornado shelters beginning at 8 p.m. tonight at Inman School, Henry Elementary School, Harrelson School and Lakewood School.
County EMA Director Ron Watkins said Henry County is under a tornado watch until 1 a.m. Severe weather is expected to move through the county from 8 p.m. through midnight.
If you go to the shelters, Watkins said residents are asked to bring folding chairs.
The sheriff office’s School Resource Officers will be manning the shelters tonight.
