
Hardin County, Tenn.–Search and recovery operations for the missing boaters from Obion County began at 8 a.m. this morning with 30 boats and 70 volunteers are conducting surface and sonar scans on the Tennessee River.
According to the TWRA, the Jackson Police Department Aviation unit is assisting with aerial scans along the banks of the river.
Tyson Chicken from Union City has brought their cooker and cooking team to provide all the lunch for today’s search and rescue teams.
The fishing team from Obion County Central High School has been missing exactly a week today. Two 15-year-olds and a father of one of the boys, Kenneth Driver, were participating in a fishing tournament at Pickwick when they went missing.
