John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Byrd, Kentucky Headhunters To Headline 2020 Tennessee River Jam/Froggyfest

Paris, Tenn.—John Michael Montgomery. Tracy Byrd. Kentucky Headhunters.

They are part of the giant lineup for this summer’s Tennessee River Jam and Froggyfest 2020 that will be appearing over four days at nine venues and 16 concerts.

The lineup announcement was made this morning at a press conference at the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Executive Director Travis McLeese said the festivities have expanded into a four-day activity, beginning on Thursday, June 25 and moving through Sunday, June 28.

Many of the concerts will be free.

In addition to Montgomery, Byrd and Kentucky Headhunters, other performers include the popular regional band Levon, Ethan Torsak, Derek St. Holmes (former vocalist and guitar player for Ted Nugent), Risky Business, Johnny Mac, Randall French, 24 Seven, Johnny Mac and the Heart Attacks, Tristan McIntosh, Candisoul, Kathy Troccoli, Olivia Faye, Brian McCadams and Friends, and Xtraordinary Gentlemen.

“We’re gearing up for a big summer,” McLeese said, noting the four-day festival will be jam-packed with activities.

Major sponsor is Forever Communications. President and COO Chris Hilliard said, “We’re very fortunate you have the perfect venue here at Paris Landing State Park. That made all the difference in the world for this event. We want to thank all the sponsors. Trust me, we couldn’t do it without you.”

Forever Communications Vice President Jared Mims said, “We’re thrilled to move on with this partnership for Year Two of this event. Last year the crowds were amazing and it just had an energy about it. It’s becoming an annual destination for people and families. And we have just a great lineup for this year.”

Deb Howard, Vice President and General Manager for Froggy 103.7 said, “We’re glad we finally got this down here and we can only see it getting better and better.”

Froggyfest will be held Saturday, June 27, beginning at 4 p.m. at Paris Landing. Opening Froggyfest will be popular local bands 24 Seven and Johnny Mac and the Heart Attacks. The National Anthem will be sung by Henry County High School Junior Marley Trosper.

Performing at Froggyfest will be John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Byrd, with $25 for general admission and $75 for VIP tickets.

In addition to Froggyfest at Paris Landing, eight other venues will host concerts through the four days.

Thursday, June 25:

The festivities kick off in the west alley in downtown Paris at 6:30 p.m. with Risky Business; Johnny Mac at 7 p.m. at Blues Landing; and Randall French at 7 p.m. at The Breakers. All of those events are free.

Friday, June 26:

Ethan Torsak and Tommy Akers Band will perform at 11 a.m.  at Ace’s Restaurant; Tristan McIntosh and Ethan Torsak will perform at 6 pm. At Eiffel Tower Park; Kentucky Headhunters and Randall French will be at Blues Landing at 7:30 p.m.; Derek St. Holmes and Johnny Mac will perform at The Breakers at 8 p.m.; and Candisoul will perform at LL’s Bar and Grill at 8 p.m. The events at Ace’s Restaurant and Eiffel Tower Park are free. The Blues Landing prices at $35, $25, and $20; The Breakers tickets are $10 and LL’s Bar and Grill are $15.

Saturday, June 27:

Kathy Troccoli at 11 a.m. at Sweet Jordan’s; Olivia Faye at Stella Nera at noon; Ethan Torsa at The Breakers ( all three of those events are free); Froggyfest begins at 4 p.m.; Brian McCadams and Friends are at Blues Landing at 8 p.m. for free; and Levon will perform at 8 p.m. at The Breakers for $20.

Sunday, June 28:

Johnny Mac at the Breakers at 4 p.m.; and Xtraordinary Gentlemen at Blues Landing. Both those events are free.

Changes at Froggyfest include a free Photo Booth and better sound.
