Paris, Tenn – The Henry County High School Lady Patriots defeated the Springfield Lady Yellow Jackets Thursday night at Gamlin Gym in Paris by a final score of 57-38 in the 1st round of the District 10-AAA basketball tournament.
The Lady Patriots were led in scoring by Abby Grace Alton with 16 points followed by Ella Bomar’s 12 points contribution.
Other Lady Patriot scorers were Aly Diggs 10 points, Averie O’Daniel 7 points, TaMya Easley with 4 points and, Gracey Pack, Sophie Singleton, Mary Rae Smith and Harlee Veazy all with 2 points each.
The win advances the Lady Patriots to the semi-final round of the tournament against Northwest in Springfield on Saturday. Radio coverage of the 5pm game will begin at 4:30 pm with our pre-game show on 94.1 FM WLZK but streaming of the game will be delayed until the conclusion of the Helping Hand Radio Auction.
