Buchanan, Tenn.–A mobile home and camper trailer were a total loss after a Saturday night fire in Buchanan.

The Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department and the Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 230 Greenhill Drive around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night on a report of a structure fire.

Paris Landing Fire Chief Reggie Coles said arriving units found a single wide mobile home engulfed in flames, with a camper trailer nearby also engulfed in flames.

Owner Randall Caskey said the trailer was used only used for storage. He told firefighters he heard a popping sound and when he went to his door, the trailer was burning.

Coles said, “The exact cause is undetermined but is believed to be accidental.”  Damage is estimated at $10,000.00.  Paris Landing had four trucks and 10 firefighters on the scene for three hours.
