Union City, Tenn.–Continuing a theme first set by first- and second-graders at Union City Elementary School a couple of weeks ago, kindergarten enrichment students in Tammy Harris’ class recently studied art with high school teacher Hilary Webb and painted a winter weather picture.
The class had studied a winter weather unit, then visited Webb’s classroom at UCHS, where the art teacher first talked about the different seasons, then instructed the students on how to paint their own winter weather scene.
The students created a tape resist winter landscape with birch trees on stretched canvas and used acrylic paint for their project.
