Union City, Tenn.–Two people were shot at a housing development in Union City Wednesday night and Union City Police are asking for the public’s help in its investigation.
Officers were dispatched to EastGate Village Apartments about 10:05 p.m. on a report of gunshots.
While en route, officers received information that there were two victims at Reelfoot
Marathon, 1215 S Miles Ave, with gunshot wounds. Upon officers arrival, they identified the two gunshot victims as two men from the Jackson, TN area.
Both subjects were first transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City with one subject being treated and released with minor injuries and the other subject being transported to The Med in Memphis.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the parking lot of the EastGate Apartments.
