Paris, Tenn.–With heavy rain falling most of the day, the Election Commissions in Henry and Obion Counties were experiencing a very slow first day of early voting Wednesday. By 3:20 p.m., there had been 68 voters at the Obion County Elections office, while the Henry County office had seen 75. Early voting continues through February 25. The Obion Co. Elections office is at 308 Bill Burnett Circle, while the Henry Co. Elections Commission is now in its new location at 215 Grove Blvd. (former Weston Hall).
