Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man is being held on $25,000 bond in the Henry County Jail on charges including domestic and aggravated assault, as well as drug and weapons charges.
Gary Wayne Oliver, age 53, 25 Travis Loop, was arrested Friday night, charged with beating a woman and choking her at his home over the course of Thursday evening.
Henry County Deputy Gary Carroll also found firearms and a glass pipe among Olive’s things during a search at the home. The sheriff’s office issued a warrant for Olive’s arrest Thursday and he was arrested Friday.
He is charged with domestic assault, aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
