
Early voting begins this week for the March 3 Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary. The early voting period goes from February 12-25.
Henry County voters are reminded that with the Elections Commission moving to new offices, early voting now is at the Elections Commission’s new headquarters at 215 Grove Blvd., Suite B, which is the former Weston Hall.
The office will have signs along Grove Blvd. and at the new entrance to guide voters to the new location.
Henry County hours for the Early Voting Period will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays. It will be open two Saturdays during early voting.
In Henry County, in addition to voting for the presidential candidates and delegates, ballots will include Chancellor, Constables, property assessor, road board members and road superintendent.
In Obion County, early voting will be at the Elections Commission office at 308 Bill Burnett Dr., Union City. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
In Obion County, the Democratic Party held a caucus, but no one qualified to be on the ballot for assessor and constable positions.
Election commissions will be closed Feb. 17 for President’s Day.
