Murray, Ky.–Murray Police are welcoming an officer back to the department. Officer Chris Garland was officially sworn in as an Officer with the Murray Police Department by Mayor Bob Rogers.
Officer Garland has many years of experience serving as a police officer. In July of 2019, Officer Garland retired from the department at the rank of Major after serving for 20 years as a Murray police officer. Chief Liles said, “We are excited to welcome Officer Garland back to our department, and we are looking forward to him continuing his career with us.”
