Paris, Tenn.–While supplies last, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter will be giving away well-constructed and roomy dog houses to everyone who adopts a dog or who donates $50 to the shelter.
Sgt. John McElroy, who oversees the shelter, said the dog houses were made by inmates and are built big enough to fit most sizes of dogs.
There are still 22 dog houses left and are available at either the shelter or the sheriff’s office lobby. People can bring their donations to the sheriff’s office any time to receive a free dog house.
The sheriff’s office is located at 210 Forrest Heights Rd. and phone number is 731 642 1672. You can donate to the shelter at any time at the donation slot in the front lobby.
The sheriff’s animal shelter is located at 622 Jones Bend Rd. and is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week.
