Paris, Tenn.–Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris will offer a musical production for grades K-4 and a non-musical production for grades 4-8. Rehearsals have been set, to begin Monday, January 6. Fourth graders will be placed according to what works best. No advance audition required.
Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5 PM. The cost to participate is $35, and all who register will be included. Director Rhonda Stanton asks that parents let KPAC know if their children plan to participate (name and grade please) so that they may be well prepared, and thanks to those who have already responded.
Performance date is Sunday, March 1.
“The Share Bears” is a musical winter fantasy for young ones. It explores the concepts of generosity and caring for others. Young artists from Kindergarten through 4th grade may participate.
For the grade 4-8 crew, KPAC has three awesome and fun non-musical scripts waiting. The script will then be chosen depending fully upon how many participants come. The focus of this production is learning to develop and present a character.
