Nashville, Tenn.–A rock legend has been added as a special guest for the free Music City Midnight show on New Year’s Eve in Nashville.
Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac will join headliner Keith Urban at the annual event at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Stevie Nicks is the first woman to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: first as part of Fleetwood Mac and again as a solo artist.
Other performers include Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Amanda Shires, The Struts, Bren Joy and Kalie Shorr.
Gates open at 4 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, followed by the raising of the Music Note (Nashville’s version of the NYC ball drop) that will kick off the live music. The Music Note will drop at midnight and will be accompanied by fireworks.
News2 in Nashville will provide live coverage of the show and portions of the concert will be featured in the holiday coverage on CNN and NBC.
