Paris, Tenn.—A home on Country Club Loop is a total loss after a Sunday night fire. The family and their pets were unharmed.
The home belonging to the family of Dave and Kaylin Belisle was destroyed in the fire, which began at 7:18 p.m. Firefighters were at the scene until 10:40 p.m. and returned at 11:19 to respond to a water leak.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
According to the report, when Paris Firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof and 2/3 of the home was already involved in fire and smoke.
The report states the value of the property is $220,000 and contents at $40,000. The loss of property was valued at $150,000 and loss of contents at $30,000.
Firefighters said they performed an exterior attack initially until the structure cooled off enough for entry to be made. The home is 1,800 square feet.
Mutual aid was provided by the Paris Landing Fire Department.
