Springville, Tenn.–A Columbia, Tenn. man was arrested for public intoxication Saturday evening at a Henry County boat ramp.
Richard Gall, age 49, was arrested by Sgt. Blake Jenkins following an incident at the Antioch Harbor Boat Ramp. According to the report, Gall’s vehicle ran off the roadway and was stuck in a ditch, after which Gall reportedly passed out at the wheel.
Sgt. Jenkins said Gall was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech when deputies got him out of the car. It was determined that being in such close proximity to a boat ramp, Gall was a danger to himself or others.
