Union City, Tenn.–Chimes for Charity is seeking volunteers to help pack and deliver Christmas baskets on Christmas Eve morning.
In its 85th year, Chimes for Charity always delivers baskets to the needy in Obion County. The baskets contain food, clothing and toys. It is sponsored by the Union City Jaycees and J’Cettes.
This year, the groups plan to deliver 250 baskets and they are seeking volunteers to help sort the items at 1 p.m. Sunday and to pack the baskets at 1 p.m. Monday. They will be meeting at the Obion County Central School bus garage in Troy.
