Dover, Tenn.–Over 1,000 wreaths now adorn the gravestones at Fort Donelson National Cemetery following the Wreaths Across America observance Saturday. A total of 1,241 wreaths were placed on graves by 150-plus volunteers representing several organizations and many volunteers.
Fort Donelson Superintendent Brian McCutchen said, “What a day of participation by those present”, noting what a ‘great turnout’ there was at the observance.
