Calloway County Pedestrian Struck, Killed

Calloway County, Ky.–An investigation is still ongoing in the death of a pedestrian in Calloway County this week.

According to a press release issued by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office late Friday night, Christopher Gallimore, age 48, was walking southbound on Locust Grove Road around 5:20 a.m. December 11 when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Sharon Pierceall of Calloway County. Gallimore was transported to Murray-Calloway Hospital by EMS and was later pronounced deceased.

At this time no charges are expected to be filed, but the investigation is ongoing by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
