Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Sheriff’s Deputy Lee Miller has received the “Beyond the Traffic Stop” award from the Governor’s Safety office. Sheriff Frankie Gray said, “This was due to his dedication and ability to look beyond the initial factors” in a traffic stop for speeding which yielded 30 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. The award was presented at the Tennessee Highway Safety Awards ceremony in Bell Buckle on Wednesday.
