Two More Nabbed In Mayfield Home Invasion

Mayfield, Ky.–A second and third arrest has been made in a home invasion and shooting investigation in Graves County in which the home owner shot two of the suspects. The homeowner himself was later arrested on drugs and weapons charges.
A 911 call was received just after midnight on November 19 from a man who said two men had broken into his home armed. The caller reported over the phone that he had shot both men.

Both suspects that were shot by the resident were taken to area hospitals. One man identified as being 22-year-old Valdarious D. Starks of Clarksville was arrested on November 27th, after being released from a medical facility. He was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Attempted 1st Degree Robbery, Kidnapping, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and Assault 2nd Degree, and lodged at the Graves County Jail.
On December 09 during the early evening hours, a second suspect was found in the Paducah area after being released from an out of state hospital. Graves Sheriff’s detectives with the assistance from McCracken Sheriff’s detectives located and arrested 28-year-old Kendrick Owens at a residence located just off of South 28th Street. He was transported and lodged at the Graves County Jail.

Possession of a Firearm of a Convicted Felon
Assault 2nd Degree
On Tuesday December 10 at approximately 10:30 AM, Graves Sheriff’s detectives arrested 24-year old Santashia R. Donald of Paducah on an arrest warrant. Donald has been identified by sheriff’s detectives as accompanying the two previous listed suspects to the Tom Drive home during the November 19th incident.
Arrested: Donald, Santashia R. 24 years old of Paducah, Ky
Charges: Tampering with Physical Evidence
Attempted 1st Degree Robbery
Complicity to 1st Degree Burglary
She was lodged at the Graves County Jail.
This investigation when began led sheriff’s detectives to the Paducah area as the suspects involved had ties to that area.
During the evening hours of Thursday November 21, detectives located the suspect vehicle that was used in the home invasion and getaway at a Paducah area residence located on River Oaks Blvd. This vehicle was seized as evidence as well as another vehicle from the Lone Oak area that contained evidence from this crime as well.
Detectives from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office provided invaluable assistance during this investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
The homeowner, Anthony Dominique Crittendon of 561 Tom Drive was held in the Graves Co. Jail.
