Union City, Tenn.–Union City Police are seeking information on what led to the shooting death of a woman who was found laying in a street in the city Thursday night.
Lt. Derrick O’Dell said the woman, Semika Davis, age 37, was found in the street in the 700 block of East Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. at around 10:19 p.m.
Ms. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. She was found to have suffered a gunshot wound.
