Gleason, Tenn.–A Henry County man was arrested on drug and weapons charges after a pursuit in Weakley County.
Barton Derek Grande, age 45, of Henry, was arrested by Gleason and Weakley County law enforcement after a pursuit that started in Gleason and moved through rural roads in the county before he ran his vehicle into a gully. According to the report, Grande then ran into the woods before being arrested by deputies.
A search of Grande and the vehicle found 15 grams of crystal meth, 8.5 grams of marijuana and a handgun. He was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, evading arrest, and possession of meth and marijuana.
