Man Charged With Ransacking Paris Home

Paris, Tenn.–A locally homeless man is incarcerated in the Henry County Jail on $10,000 bond after he was charged with ransacking the home of people who allowed him to stay at their home.
Randy Breeland, age 55, of Franklin, Ky., will appear in General Sessions Court Tuesday on the charge of aggravated burglary.
He was arrested by Paris Police Lt. Josh Frey for burglary of a home on N. Blakemore Street. According to the report, the resident of the home said he returned from work to find the home ransacked, with security cameras taken and the kitchen floor flooded. Frey’s report said an ID badge and two cell phones belonging to Breeland were in the home.
The resident told Frey he allowed Breeland to stay the previous night because he was homeless but he had driven him downtown the next day.
