Mayfield, Ky.–Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision which resulted in one car being submerged in a pond Wednesday night in Graves County.
At approximately 8:15 PM Graves County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of W Slaughter Rd for a two vehicle collision.
According to the press release, 63-year-old Kenneth Campbell of Mayfield was traveling east on W Slaughter Rd. 36-year-old Brannon Lawson of Mayfield was traveling west.
Both vehicles sideswiped one another at the crest of a hill. Lawson’s vehicle spun out of control and entered a pond resulting in the vehicle being partially submerged under water.
Kenneth Campbell was treated and transported by Mayfield Graves County EMS to Lourdes Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Lawson did not sustain any injuries.
The investigating officer, Deputy Brendan Weldon, was assisted by Deputy Chandler Sirls and Deputy Snapper Seaton. The Graves County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mayfield Graves County EMS.
