20 School Resource Officer Reserve Deputies Graduated In Henry County

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the graduation of 20 new School Resource Officer Reserve Deputies. Sheriff Monte Belew said, “The group has been through over 120 hours of training in various aspects of law enforcement, however, much of it was geared towards school safety and security.”
Graduation ceremonies were held at the Henry County Fairgrounds late last week. The group of men and women will now join along the current SROs throughout the city and county to bring extra help through the school year.
During the graduation awards were given to the top performers in certain categories. They are:
Emergency Vehicle Operations – Robby Smith
Academic Award – Robby Smith
Firearms – Randy Mabe
Best overall in class – Larry Hale
