Paris, Tenn.–Spectrum representative Zack Bates presented a check for $2,500 to the Henry County Office on Aging Friday, which will allow more laptops to be purchased for the senior center. Director Reggie Caldwell said the center is excited about the new laptops and noted the center now has a computer room set aside for seniors. County Mayor Brent Greer was on hand for the presentation.
The Office On Aging has teamed up with the W.G.Rhea public library in this endeavor and offers free computer classes each Thursday morning at 10am at the library. Jocelyn McCarthy, who is the Information Technology Coordinator for the library offers free classes.
