Paris, Tenn.–When it’s chilly outside, it’s time for eating chili for your insides. And what better place than the annual CASA Chili Cook-Off fundraiser from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Enoch Building at the Henry County Fairgrounds. CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates helping the local foster children.
In addition to teams showing off their chili cooking skills, there will be live music, baked goods, games for the kids, door prizes and lots of fellowship. And, the public can eat the chili being prepared.
Cost is $10 in advance, $15 at the door; children $5 in advance, $7.50 at the door; and children under three free.
Awards include GRAND Chili Champion, People’s Choice Award and Best Theme, Costume and Decorated booth.
