Miss Paris Volunteer To Be Crowned

Paris, Tenn.–On Sunday, November 24, the first-ever Miss Paris Volunteer will be crowned at Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. Unlike any pageant in the area, Miss Paris Volunteer will highlight and promote Paris and Henry County and allow the titleholder to compete at the state level in Miss Tennessee Volunteer Scholarship Pageant in June 2020.
Kerri Arnold of Camden, TN, currently holds the Miss Tennessee Volunteer title.
Three queens will be crowned on November 24: Miss Paris Volunteer (Ages 17-24), Miss Paris Teen
Volunteer (Ages 13-17, talent required), and Miss Paris Teen Iris Volunteer (Ages 13-17, talent not
required). Throughout the Miss Paris Volunteer pageant, the contestants will compete in five distinct categories: Interview, Fitness Wear, Talent, Gown, and On-Stage Question.
Miss Paris Volunteer will be awarded $1,000 in scholarship money along with numerous exclusive
gifts from local businesses and sponsors. Her court will also be awarded scholarship money. Rules and guidelines are listed on Miss Paris Volunteer’s Facebook page. Contestants must submit their applications via email to missparispageant@gmail.com no later than Friday, November 15.
Judging the pageant will be Tim Tatum of Memphis, Director of Advancement at Woodland
Presbyterian School; Erin Hatley of Bartlett, 2011 Miss Tennessee; Erika Vastola of Nashville, country music recording artist and winner of 2005 Nashville Star; Travis McLeese of Paris, Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce Director; Elizabeth Faughn of Paducah, Supervising Teacher of Student Teachers at Murray State University.
Please make plans to attend the inaugural Miss Paris Volunteer pageant on Sunday, November 24, at Krider Performing Arts Center in Paris. Doors will open at 2:30 pm and the pageant will begin at 3 pm. Admission will be $8 for adults and $5 for children 6-12.
