Warrant Issued For Former Hospital Employee After Break-In

Paris, Tenn.–A warrant has been issued by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office for a Hornbeak woman accused of breaking into the biohazard room at the Henry County Medical Center.
The warrant was issued for Dana Freeze, age 44, who was a former hospital employee who was terminated in December of 2018.
According to the report, nurses noticed a suspicious person lurking around the biohazard room at the hospital. They saw her go into the room and found her going through the sharps containers which store used syringes and vials of various medicines. When confronted by the nurses, she left out of the emergency room door.
In an unrelated report, deputies also responded to a report of a stolen truck on Jones Bend Rd. The owner had gone out of town for a few days and when he returned his 2001 blue Chevy truck which had been full of toolboxes and tools was missing.
A total of four toolboxes in the bed of the truck as well as everything from hand saws to drills was missing. The value of the truck was estimated at $5000 and the tools at $8000. Officers believe this may be the same Chevy truck that was found on Grooms Rd. two days prior that was deemed a total loss due to fire damage. This investigation has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division.
