Union City, Tenn.–Union City Police have arrested a local couple on charges of aggravated child abuse after their two-month-old baby was found to have 19 fractures, including skull fractures.
The child is a patient at LeBonheur Hospital.
On Wednesday, Union City Police were notified that a two-month-old baby had been sent to LeBonheur with multiple fractures. Once examined, the child was found to have a total of 19 fractures which includes two skull fractures, 13 rib fractures and four leg fractures.
Following the investigation, the parents of the child, Roneshia Albea, age 21, and DaQuan Green, age 22, both of Union City were charged with aggravated child abuse, a Class A felony.
