Paris, Tenn.–A Greenfield man was arrested after his room at a local resort was found damaged.
Henry County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Carrington, age 31, on a DUI charge.
Deputies were called to Buchanan Resort on a report of damage to a room. When the cleaning crew went into Carrington’s room, they found holes in the walls, the television not working, and damage to the door causing it to not shut properly even when locked.
An attempt to receive restitution from Carrington and a friend were unsuccessful and more charges are likely.
In an unrelated report, vandalism to a car at a home on Hwy 77 was reported deputies. The owner stated the car was found with the rear car window shattered, as well as the whole of the back window, and a hole on the left side of a window where it appears to have been struck with something. There are no suspects at this time.
