Paris, Tenn.- Music, food, and fun is planned at the Paris Moose Lodge from 1 to 10 p.m. this Saturday October 26th with proceeds going to scholarships for students going into music-related careers and other music-related expenses at Henry County High School.
The West Tennessee Players Resource (WTPR) group will hold their 1st annual Cook-Out Fundraiser and Music Show and the event is open to the public and all musicians, with door prizes in the name of Corey Soloway being given away including two violins, a Guitar King Trumpet, and ten harmonicas.
There will be a song writers round from 2-4 pm, recording artists show at 4 pm, and music from local artists throughout the evening such as Evan Dodd, Vince Dodd, Jerry Thomas, Rachelle Nichole, Noah Smith, and many more including the WTPR players group.
Dinner begins at 3 pm with award winning ribs, smoked chicken, hot dogs, macaroni salads, cole slaw, and more. For more information call Alan Knowles at 731-333-2772. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door Saturday.
