Paris, Tenn.–The new entrance to the Henry County High School is really taking shape as the renovation project continues. The new walkway and handicapped entrance is complete. Henry County Director of Schools Dr. Leah Watkins said the library renovation will be one of the last parts of the project to be completed, with 15,000 books and other equipment to be relocated to a temporary, climate-controlled location inside the high school while the library is being renovated. Watkins said by January most of the project, including the new football locker room, athletic building, and band building should be completed. “Those are very, very close to being done right now,” she said. Construction of a new concession stand will be the last part of the project to get underway. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
