Union City, Tenn.–Members of John Graham’s CDC special education phys ed classes at Union City High School enjoyed a pretty day Friday while playing disc golf at Graham Park.
Graham regularly has his classes participate in new activities and said he chose disc golf for today “because it’s something the students can participate in and enjoy the rest of their lives.”
The 14-member class played several holes on the park course, some of them showcasing exceptional skills in the exercise. The group had been practicing for a week, according to Graham, with three new goals and discs at the school.
Graham was assisted today by UCHS special education teacher Regina Turner and director of Special Populations Laney Rogers.
