Mayfield Men Linked To Fentanyl Overdoses

Mayfield, Ky.–Detectives with the Graves Co. and Marshall Co. Sheriff’s Offices have arrested two men believed to be linked to the sale of drugs laced with Fentanyl. The investigation began when individuals in Marshall Co. began overdosing on drugs laced with Fentanyl in September.
Zachary Courtney, age 32, and Mitchell Webb, age 25, both of Mayfield, were arrested today and lodged into the Graves Co. Jail.

The investigation led detectives to an address on Tom Drive, south of Mayfield, where pills were recovered from inside the home.The pills were seized and were confirmed by the Kentucky State Police Western Regional Lab to contain Fentanyl.
Warrants were issued on Courtney and Webb. The investigation into the case is continuing by detectives from Graves and Marshall Counties as well as other agencies.
Both Courtney and Webb were charged with the following:
1. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
2. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Fentanyl
3. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
