Library Fall Festival Set In Memory Of McSwain

Paris, Tenn.–The W.G. Rhea Public Library in Paris will be hosting a “Free, Fall, Fun, Family Festival” in memory of the late Connie McSwain from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19th. McSwain was the long-time Library Director who died in June.
The event is full of the activities that McSwain loved the most, including Mr. Bond’s Science Guys, who will be performing at 5 p.m. The Ray Lewis Band will also perform a concert on the library lawn starting at 6 p.m.
There will be free food and the book store will be open.
Also, fall bulbs will be for sale, which brings us to the 2nd Annual Rhea Library Bulb Sale which will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 21st through Oct. 26th or until sold out.  Eight varieties of bulbs including Carlton, February Gold, Ice Follies, Jet Fire, Katie Heath, Sir Winston Churchill, Tahiti and Tete-A-Tete.
For those of you who garden, the flower bulbs are zoned for our section of the state. They aren’t tiny little wilted bulbs that you may get from a chain store. They grow very well and bloom beautifully if you do as directed on the info card attached to the bag. They will sell quickly so don’t miss out!
