Paris, Tenn.–It was a big day–and a fun day–today for Henry County Special Olympics at the Family Fun Center bowling alley in Paris. This is the 45th year that the local schools have conducted the Special Olympics Bowling Event. Coordinator Jammie Adkisson said 87 athletes participated from all of the schools in the Henry County and Paris school systems. Numerous teachers, teaching assistants, central office staff, parents and peer buddies also were on hand to assist and cheer them on. After the event, lunches were provided by McDonald’s in Paris.
