Retired Long-Time Funeral Director Gordon Hilton Wheatley, age 83, passed away on October 10, 2019 at Life Care in Bruceton. He was a retired Funeral Director with Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home, a member of Tennessee Funeral Directors Assoc. and a charter member Benton County Rescue Squad.
Wheatley was born on February 3, 1936 in Big Sandy, TN. to the late Maurice Hilton Wheatley and Bessie Serena Holland. He was also preceded in death by his sister Deloris June Wheatley.

Wife: Doris June Charlton Wheatley of Camden, TN.
Son: Tony (Jennifer) Wheatley of Big Sandy, TN.
Grandson: Andrew (Alsey) Wheatley of Big Sandy, TN.
Great Grandson: William Charles Wheatley
Sister: Linda (Mike) Stockdale of Big Sandy, TN.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin in Big Sandy, TN. with Bro. Chad Kennedy and Bro. Gerald Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
Visitation with the Wheatley family will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Stockdale-Malin in Big Sandy, TN. and again on Sunday October 13, 2019 from 8:00 am till service time.
