Paris, Tenn.-Meeting in regular session Thursday evening, the Paris Regional Municipal Planning Commission approved the site plan for Bridge of Hope Church which plans to add an 8,000 sq.ft. Fellowship hall on the east side of the existing property. The site currently has 63 parking spaces and the new plan calls for 83 spaces with an additional area and space for 18 more parking spaces in the future.
SSR Engineers issued some details of the proposal dealing with grading, a washout pad, and adding a silt fence to the project.
In other business, planners discussed a pending site plan that calls for taking out the walk-in ATM of Commercial Bank and Trust at Hwy. 54 at the old Coop and Mr. Tire location and creating a drive-through.
After discussion, it was determined a variance request was needed to make the plan fall under all guidelines. The planning commission will pick it back up at November’s meeting.
