KSP Charge Graves Co. Father With Wanton Endangerment

Sedalia, Ky.-Kentucky State Police troopers have charged a Graves County father with first-degree wanton endangerment after his two-year-old was injured in an accidental shooting earlier this month.
Zachary Page, age 25, was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail on Monday night. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Sarah Burgess with the Kentucky State Police.
On October 1st, State Police responded to a report of an accidental, self-inflicted, gunshot wound to a 2-year-old near Sedalia in Graves County.
The investigation revealed that the infant had access to a holstered handgun which led to an accidental discharge striking the infant.  The infant was air-lifted to a Nashville hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The investigation revealed that the father of the child failed to secure the weapon which allowed full access to the infant child.
On Monday, October 7th, KSP consulted with the Graves Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office regarding the investigation.
