Paris PD Reports: Shots Fired, Assault, Car Theft

 
Paris, Tenn.–Officers from Paris Police and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Bob White Lane in Paris on Saturday to find an unresponsive male lying in the driveway with a Smith and Wesson 45 caliber gun in hand. The male, identified as Kenneth Ray Anderson, was intoxicated and unable to stand, he had fallen in the driveway. Anderson was transported to the jail and his firearm confiscated.
 
–The Paris Police Department responded to a call regarding an assault during an attempted robbery on Blythe Street Friday night. According to the report, the victim was approached around 10:30 pm on Blythe Street and asked for a dollar. Victim was unsure whether suspect was male or female. As victim took out her wallet, the suspect grabbed the wallet.
The victim and suspect then fought for possession of the wallet resulting in the suspect running away towards Courthouse Apartments empty handed. The victim suffered from marks on right upper chest and back as well as bruising and pain in right arm. No arrest has been made at this time.
–According to a report at the Paris Police Department, a vehicle was stolen from a home on McFadden Street.
The vehicle is a 200 Ford Fusion, with license plate on the front of the car that says 1ELVIS. A bolo has been issued and multiple officers searched the area for the vehicle that was last seen in Hazel behind the Blue and White Grill.
