Henry County Youth Shows Talent At Krider Idol

Paris, Tenn.–Henry County’s youth showed off their talent Saturday night at the 2019 Krider Idol, hosted by the Paris-Henry County Arts Council and the Krider Performing Arts Center.
Winners were:
Keaton Roberson in the age 9-12 group. Keaton won for his version of “Somebody To Love” from Queen.
Keaton Roberson and Owen Wade won in the group division with their rendition of “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson.
Katie Barnett in the age 13-18 age group. She sang, “You are the Reason” in the first round of competition, following up with “A Million Dreams”.
Judges for the evening were: Murray State Music Professor Tana Field; Bethel Renaissance Associate Director Connie Hodge-McCain, and Austin Peay Choral Activities Director Korre Foster.
