Mayfield, Ky.–The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating an inmate who escaped Saturday morning.
At approximately 7:07 a.m., Darius Harrison, age 26, of 179 Greg St, Mayfield, left the Graves County Jail on foot.
Harrison was working inside the jail and found access to an open door and exited the jail on foot, according to Jailer George Workman. Deputies immediately noticed him missing and contacted other local law enforcement.
A search was conducted for Harrison, utilizing canines and local law enforcement. He was not located at that time. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, brown pants and tennis shoes. He was last seen headed northbound on 6th St in Mayfield.
