Hazel Day Draws Large Crowd

Hazel, Ky.–Hazel was the place to be Saturday, with the annual Hazel Day drawing large crowds for the parade, live music, arts and crafts, food trucks, petting zoo, and of course, lots of antiques. In photos, parade goers enjoyed lots of balloons and candy from the entries, Tabitha Merrell was holding the fort at the Puryear Cub Scout Pack 226 booth while the scouts were in the parade; and students from Murray State University walked dogs who are up for adoption from the Murray-Calloway Co. Humane Society in the parade and around the grounds so they could become acquainted with people and hopefully adopted. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
