Dover, Tenn.–Some 15 acres of woods was burned in a fire Saturday in Stewart County. Excessive dry conditions have caused several field fires in recent days in our area. The Stewart County Fire & Rescue responded to a report of woods on fire on Hwy. 232 near Brownsfield Road around 1 p.m. Saturday. Approximately 15 acres of woods burned. The Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department and Forestry Service provided mutual aid. (Stewart Co. Fire & Rescue photo).
