Martin, Tenn. – Randy Boyd, interim president of the University of Tennessee System, is shown discussing higher education policy with University of Tennessee at Martin students in Dr. Anderson Starling’s public policy course. Boyd discussed his background and previous experience as a business owner and his current work in higher education. The class also discussed some of Boyd’s high-profile programs, such as Tennessee Promise, Tennessee Achieves and the Drive to 55. Political science is a major housed in the UT Martin College of Business and Global Affairs.
