PSSD Staff Observe Classes At Jackson-Madison County Schools

Jackson, Tenn.–A contingent of Paris Special Schools District teachers visited Andrew Jackson School in Jackson Tuesday to observe the new English/Language Arts curriculum being employed in the Jackson-Madison County School System.
PSSD Literacy Supervisor Sandra Paschall was accompanied by Kindergarten Teachers Belinda Davis, Sarah Rowlett, Kelley Eddings and Brooke French. Paschall said, “They have a new curriculum there that is a combination of ‘new school’ and ‘old school’ and everybody is trained on it. They’ve seen such achievement and growth I just thought we should observe it in action.”
“We were very excited about what we saw,” Paschall said.
