Paris, Tenn.–Henry County competed in the District 10-AAA Golf Tournament on Monday and while no team advanced, two of the Lady Patriots and two Patriots golfers did advance to the Regional tournament as individuals to be held October 7th.
In men’s action, Clarksville High won the District with a 325, followed by Creek Wood’s 358, Rossview’s 365, Henry County 384, Sycamore 399, Montgomery Central 416, Springfield 474, and Northeast 576. Individually Jack Foster shot an 88, Dalton Dodd a 93, Jackson Hayes 101, and Jackson Ridgeway 102. Foster and Dodd both qualify for Regionals.
For women’s action, the Lady Patriot’s finished with a 196, behind Clarksville’s 145, Rossview 153, and Northwest 173. Mont. Central shot a 200 and Creek Wood a 242. Individually for the Lady Pats Bentley Irby and Mary Alison Griffey shot an 89 and 107 respectively, qualifying them for the Regional Tournament. The Regional Tournament is set for October 7th at the Clarksville Country Club.
