Henry Barn Destroyed In Late Night Fire

Henry, Tenn.–A barn and equipment on Gate 3 Road in Henry County are a total loss after a fire last night.
The Henry Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 3245 Gate 3 Road at 11:21 p.m. Thursday on a report of a barn on fire.
Dustin Odom of the fire department said firefighters arrived to find a fully-involved barn with the roof already collapsed. “Our team worked a defensive attack extinguishing the fire,” he said.
The barn is owned by Ed and Betty Carter, he said. There were no injuries and all of the equipment inside the barn was destroyed, too.
The Henry Fire Department dispatched seven firefighters, one engine and one tanker.  They were assisted by Paris Fire Department and Henry County Sheriffs Office.
